A: Thirty questions in six sections: contract and competence, risk assessment and site plan, visits and reports, monitoring and trend analysis, actions and proofing, and products, people and records. Together they follow the route an auditor takes through the pest control section of a food safety audit.
A: No. It is based on BRCGS clause 4.14 and the BRC best practice guideline for pest control, but SALSA, AIB, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and most retailer codes check the same evidence. Sites without certification can use it to prepare for an environmental health inspection.
A: A score of 85% or more suggests the pest control file should stand up well, provided the remaining gaps are closed. Between 60% and 84% an auditor is likely to raise findings. Below 60% there are gaps that could lead to a major non-conformity.
A: No. The checklist runs entirely in your browser and nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere. Use the print button on the results panel to keep a copy of your score and gap list.
