• remove our branding from a document you have downloaded and present it as yours;

• use the site in any way that is unlawful or that could damage our reputation.

Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, images, checklists, templates and tools on this site belong to Shield Environmental Solutions (Selby) Ltd. Trade marks, standards and organisation names mentioned on the site, such as BRCGS, SALSA, AIB International and BPCA, belong to their respective owners and are referred to for identification only.

Guidance is not advice for your site

The guides, checklists, calculators and templates on this site are general information. They are not a pest control risk assessment, a treatment plan or a legal opinion, and they cannot take account of the conditions at your premises.

Your obligations under food safety law, your audit standard and your customers’ codes of practice remain yours. Before acting on anything here, have your site surveyed and your risk assessment written by a competent person. We are happy to do that for you.

Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry form does not create a contract. Any quotation we give is an invitation to proceed, and work begins only when it has been agreed in writing. Services we provide are governed by our contract and specification for your site, not by this website.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Where we link to another organisation, such as a standards body or a regulator, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for the content of sites we do not control.
